Trump’s approval ratings have fallen in recent weeks as he approaches the end of the first year of his second term.

A Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) polling average of surveys on Trump’s approval rating shows it sitting at 42 percent, while his disapproval rating currently sits at 55 percent. That’s lower than roughly a month ago, when the average had his approval rating at close to 46 percent and his disapproval rating at around 51 percent.

While Trump said in a recent Truth Social post last weekend that he had received “THE HIGHEST POLL NUMBERS OF MY ‘POLITICAL CAREER,’” experts are saying otherwise, attributing his lower numbers to frustration around high costs and some slippage over the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids the administration has carried out.

So after the entire shit show that was the part year, 42% of Americans actually think he’s doing anything remotely good?

Talk about your brainwashed idiots, that country is soooooo fuuuuuuucked.

Sick of these bullshit articles claiming poll numbers drop yet always 42% still approve. One it should be zero and second Trump don’t give shit about polls.

42%, it’s not really falling as it is always around this low. Also: 42% still adore the guy. Also: I think it’s at least 43% too high.

I see headlines like this at least two or three times a week, declaring MAGA is disintegrating and Trump is done for sure this time.

42% still approve of the convicted felon, adjudicated rapist and pedophile fascist. Goes to show that a large proportion of Americans still wholeheartedly approve of fascism, and are therefore a threat to the rest of the world.

    I’m sorry…concerns? CONCERNS?!

I’m concerned when I might have to skip lunch. What’s happening now is a full blown blaring alarm that war is upon us.

Yeah, apart from that one thing there’s no reason his approval rating should be slipping, is there. /s

Highest disapproval poll numbers of his career, congratulations.

Or, highest poll numbers of his career of people who want to see the full Epstein files on him.

I really do wonder what curated video and propaganda did people see, as presented by social media algorithm, to be so enamoured by Trump. So it’s not necessarily the person’s fault if they weren’t given the full information, if the media feed they’re getting is whatever the social media giants feeds them. I’ve been thinking of doing research, but I’m afraid it may lead me to a rabbit hole that i may not want.

When George W Bush left office, his overall disapproval rating was 25% When Obama left office, his disapproval rating was 38% When Biden left office, his disapproval rating was 40%

By the time Trump’s fatass leaves office, I expect to see 15% or 10% or that he’ll join George too.

But yeah, our country, people. This is what most of not-us wanted.

If you look at the approval numbers for Nixon even as he jumped on that helicopter just before getting impeached, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. I expect there is some bedrock number in this country that will ALWAYS support a Republican, no matter what he’s caught doing.

The Republicans were fucking outraged about Nixon - not that he broke the law, but that he was caught and that the media spoke about it. So they vowed to create the system we have now…in the interim, a whole lot of people in the “liberal media” took the hint during Iran/Contra which made Whitewater pale in comparison.

The problem is the two party system. There’s no choice - people don’t like losing and once they’ve picked a side, it’s almost impossible for them to change it.
