he switched places. he won because he didn’t do this and pretended he understands people are suffering. now that he’s in power he doesn’t want to admit that so he’s doing the Democratic Party Special™ which is just to tell people their experiences and feelings are wrong and things are actually great which is why they fucking lose all the goddamn time. stupid move when mamdani wiped the floor with the entire elite class with his affordability message.

A lot of people also don’t see that the Netherlands have been lifted from the Eurasian continent and landed on the Moon.

In both cases, people don’t see it because it’s not true.

If you are a predatory Sociopathic Oligarch, than America is the greatest place to be plying your exploitation strategies, and indulging your OCD financial hoarding mental illness.

It sucks for everyone else, but empathy is not something Trump understands. He probably doesn’t even know that world, just like he’d never heard the word GROCERIES before the last campaign.

This is exactly the mistake that the Dems made going into 2024. They shouted from the rooftops about how great Biden’s economy was, while completely ignoring how cost of living was destroying the average person.

Trump has managed to make those problems even worse, fritter away the few good things Biden’s economy did have going for it (low unemployment, significant investment in certain manufacturing sectors) and now they’re doing exactly the same play. But it’s going to take the Dems waking the fuck up and actually offering real solutions on cost of living to capitalise on this. That’s how they won on the 4th; every candidate that won, from progressives like Mamdami to moderate centrists, talked about affordability, the one thing Biden and Harris refused to acknowledge.

Presumably that’s all from stocks, so when the bubble pops they may be back to where they started.

      I mean, we can dream.

Yup. Bingo. This is exactly it, and other billionaires think this is the case also.

They’re going to be really confused and outraged when people start eating them.

Yea! It’s like they’ve never learned from history! If they ever opened up a history book they would see… Umm…

        Flips through history book

        Oh… Uhh…

Flips more frantically through history book

        Oh… Oh no… Err…

        Throws history book away

Anyways, the rich are definitely going to learn their lesson this time!

Greatest economy? Isn’t this one of the cornerstones of the argument used to vote for trump? How the evil democrats said the economy was great (while simultaneously somehow acknowledging it wasn’t and trying to push policy through to boost it for middle class) and forgot about the little guy?

We all start development as deuterostomes, meaning we all start off as just an asshole and grow from there, Trump’s biological development never progressed. He’s just an asshole.
