Employees of the U.S. Department of Education received an email on Tuesday advising them to vacate all department offices by 6 p.m. Staff members were instructed by the department’s Office of Security, Facilities and Logistics to plan to work from home on Wednesday.

The email included little explanation, saying department offices would be closed “for security reasons” and would reopen Thursday.

Well there’s been all that news about them wanting to sell Federal buildings.

It could be exactly that, they may even have intent for them to come back after the sale and when they’re paying fucking rent to a private company for access to it.

Normally I would agree. But this is one of those rare instances I say, “Oh shit something is up.” Rather than saying, “How progressive of our government to pilot remote work!”

This isn’t “remote work” this is “don’t come in tomorrow so we can do all kinds of shady shit without so many prying eyes.”

Return to office or be fired. Sell the federal buildings. Tell the DoE to work remote….totally not for doge to do shady shit. They are sending some mixed signals here. But I’m sure his worshippers are beating their meat as hard as they can to this while staring at their lifesize Trump cutout….in a totally not gay way.
