Well, I don’t know if he had the mental capacity to keep up with the goings-on in the world. He is very much known to be off his rocker from all the drugs.

“Ozzy is so confused by it all and just keeps asking me to explain why there is so much hatred of Jews,” Sharon said in an interview with Jewish News in 2023. “What do I say?”

In England and Wales, the leading cause of death in 2022 was dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Office for National Statistics. Specifically, they accounted for 65,967 deaths, or 11.5% of all deaths registered that year. This is a change from the previous years when COVID-19 was the leading cause of death.

              So fried brains?

lol comparing Christmas to royalism. Christmas has completely detached from Christianity at this point. Being a royalist means you are okay with funneling money to people based on heredity rather than merit. Also, Christmas doesn’t affect society in such a way that it costs anyone money that doesn’t celebrate it.

He was a notoriously evil racist, was alleged to have commit almost ric flair levels of sexual assault over the years, and has an argument for singlehandedly killing the unionization of pro wrestling and leading to the modern “independent contractor” mess.

The high levels of sodium will make you retain the water. I suggest drinking lots of water, then chugging some coconut water and/or coffee. Let your feelings flow.

Haha, “investigative journalism that discomfits the powerful” doesn’t include publishing a sex tape that was taken without a person’s knowledge. Gawker got what was coming to it.

Here’s a thought experiment: if it was Chyna who was secretly recorded having sex and had that published in 2012, would you be so dismissive of it?

No, Gawker got shut down because they were awful people with no ethics, and eventually went too far. Peter Thiel funded the lawsuit to shut them down because they said he was gay. No side is the good side here.

I don’t remember if they published the ACTUAL sex tape and I assume I would have intentionally refused to look then like I do now.

Posting non-consensual media of sexual activity is wrong, full stop.

Posting the AUDIO of that? yeah, if Joanie were dropping n-bombs and being hateful I would be all for a tabloid rag to ruin her (already pretty ruined by WWE and Paul “HH Helmsely” Levesque) life over that.

I don’t really know all too much about ozzy to be honest. His movie was a big part of my life and i saw him live 3 times. From his private life i only known from what i saw in the handful of episodes of his reality show i saw back in the day and some snippets and fun facts.

But it’s so funny to me that ozzy osbourne, the king of darkness, the person that uptight americans feared like the anti christ himself turned put to be the nice wholesome guy that people are really bummed out that he died.

Meanwhile, mr. Say your prayers eat your vegetables, truth justice and the american way of life. Loved by every flag wearing brainwashed idiot, turned out to be a massive piece of shit, racist asshole and people just don’t care and piss on his grave.

I’ve never been a fan of Ozzy or Black Sabbath, but I can acknowledge that for fans of metal, he was an absolute God. Most long-term musical acts have ups and downs in popularity, but Ozzy became a superstar with their first album, and his INTERNATIONAL popularity never waned one bit to this day. Very impressive service to his fan base.

I like metal, but know very little about him. One of the first things I knew about him was about him buying something’s head off, so I kinda put him in the “ignore intentionally” bucket.

And really that’s all I need to know.

I’ll just appreciate what he gave to music without liking him.

I never understood wrestling. Even as a child I couldn’t wrap my head around it. I didn’t get what was so fucking amazing to my friends about watching people put on a stageplay and pretend to hit each other in a ring while wearing tights. It seemed cheesy, boring and unexciting.

My friends ate it up, they were screaming at the TV. I tried to tell them it was fake and they got mad. I was boggled how people couldn’t tell it was fake. There was a Hulk Hogan cartoon in the 80’s, I loved cartoons but I was still boggled what was going on with wrestlers being so popular. The cartoon was boring and substandard, even to a child.

Fast-forward a buncha decades and here we are, a whole world of people shouting at the TV and getting exciting over theatrical bullshit presented in overtly fake ways for people to mindlessly cheer or jeer at their favorite heroes and villains… except now it’s the goddamn federal government.

Our species thrives on narratives, if you could fashion a narrative that pulls in enough people you can literally change the world.

I used to say all the same until, likely related, the relatively recent growth of John Cena’s film career. We know wrestling is fake. We know Twoicide Squad is fake. That doesn’t stop me from talking about the cool things Peacemaker does, so why should I police other people talking about wrestling events? Plus, after seeing live wrestling, it’s genuinely entertaining to watch as a sports/dance event. Note: I have zero interest in mma/boxing/etc and really don’t watch sports anyway.

People watch plays. People watch concerts. People watch sports. People watch wrestling. It’s just entertainment

          It’s just entertainment

Until the people who profit off making fake things seem real use the same tactics to shape policy and undermine democracy. For that matter, some of the very same people who produced the cognitive dissonance of wrestling went on to produce political campaigns, blurring that line in uneducated viewers’ minds further.

I’m not saying you can’t enjoy wrestling or whatever media you like, as long as you understand how entertainment works and that it’s not even a reflection of reality, much less an actual narrative. That’s the difference I’m talking about here, if you know that difference, you need not worry, go have fun.

Born late 90s, and always knew WWE wasn’t “real”. Did people really belive it was real or was that just some silly joke people used to make fun of the fans?

Like, have they never watched a stage play? It’s basically just a televised version of that plus violence.

If anyone saw his last public appearance on wwe, the guy got booed out of the building. The wrestling fans turned on him, zapping away his powers of hulkamania. Sadly it was the only thing keeping him alive.

On a side note, Jesse Ventura must be laughing his ass off right now
