Tesla cars have lost a lot of value here, so there’s not a ton of choice but to keep them for those unfortunate souls that did buy one.

It’s all about power and status. Trump was sad because he could never get past low billionaire status on his own, because he’s a shitty businessman and not very bright. That made him prime candidate for President, because he craved the power and status and couldn’t get it by raking in more money than the others, and he’s stupid enough to be easily manipulated. So, he was installed as President.
Trump turned around and cucked Musk. Musk is now trying to become the first known trillionaire* to get back at Trump, and the rest of the billionaire assholes.
*Putin might actually be worth over a trillion, no one knows for sure.
