That made him prime candidate for President, because he craved the power and status and couldn’t get it by raking in more money than the others, and he’s stupid enough to be easily manipulated. So, he was installed as President.
Trump turned around and cucked Musk. Musk is now trying to become the first known trillionaire* to get back at Trump, and the rest of the billionaire assholes.
*Putin might actually be worth over a trillion, no one knows for sure.

See, there was a guy who publicly said that Trump was never a billionaire. And the notoriously litigious Trump threatened to sue him for a kazillion dollars (because he’s a child). Because, I suspect, some of his lawyers pointed out that there’s this thing called “discovery” and that the guy he’s suing could subpoena his financial records and prove he wasn’t one.
