They were fine with the things Charlie Kirk said until he died. Now it’s suddenly not ok to remind everybody of all the things he said.

When the right wing says free speech, they mean they want freedom to say whatever they want, and also the freedom for us to say whatever they want

While pointing out these things is fine. You know the MAGAs genuinely don’t give a shit about it right?

You can tell them directly that they are two faced and they will just call you a slur.

Yeah, but we still need to make sure nobody can say “I didn’t know” 10, 15, 20 however many years down the line when it turns out that everyone was always against everything the right is currently doing.

You are correct. Nor am I under the illusion that posting memes online counts as activism. For all of our internet discussion, the only thing that really matters is what we do in the streets. (But I wouldn’t post about those activities online.)

You are correct. They actually enjoy it. That’s how fascism works.

Also, they spread racism homophobia etc and say how it is free speech and how “hate speech is a free speech” but now they are suddenly against hate speech, at least my experience from tiktok.

There is a conartist, rapist, kiddie diddler in the oval office. Supporting him is wrong.

      Or

Following and supporting someone from the mainstream media who continuously espouses hate speech is wrong.

I guess I know where this will end but I’m open to be surprised.

Why bring the orange man into the discussion? Is this all you can think of? Orange man bad? Well guess what: I’m not an US citizen and I don’t care about the CheetoMan.

Hate speech? What is that? Can you provide a proper definition for that. Speech is either free and allowed or it fella under specific sections of criminal law. If it’s legal I don’t care if it incommodates someone. They are just words.

If there are as many people as the right says who want to kill for beliefs, I have to assume you are dead now and won’t be responding. If you are not dead, either you and the right are wrong about how many people are willing to kill for your beliefs, or you both are lying for some purpose.

You’re wrong. Murder is always wrong. Celebrating murder is wrong. You can disagree with someone that’s all good and fine, you can take legal action if you opponent cross the legal border, fine. You can use self defense if your opponent crosses even that border. But the one thing that is unacceptable under all circumstances is to a) murder someone because of words b) celebrating this murder.

You can, of course, disagree. That makes you a horrible person, I would still not kill you or celebrate of someone else would do it.

Are you comparing the murder of someone with the wrong opinion to an ongoing war that happened because irreconcilable religious differences and mutual drive to total extermination?
