I was being facetious.
I was being facetious.
Because there is a distinction between things like Tricare or the VA health system, and just a good healthcare plan that you get through your employer. Even if that employer is the government.
Our Senators get free healthcare on our dime (Tricare). Federal workers get a good HMO plan because they have a massive risk pool. Big difference.
Yeah, kneejerk crypto hate on this website aside, don’t we want crypto regulation? Don’t clear rules about investment vehicles benefit everyone?
Don’t be reactionary just because you don’t like crypto.
Edit: If you wanted something less crypto-friendly, maybe you should’ve got off your ass and voted for Kamala Harris.
So are our tax dollars funding it any more directly than they’re funding any other federal worker’s health insurance?
No way CBS would have allowed him to do the show in that character… Maybe a segment every now and then, but not entire episodes. Not on CBS.
Yeah, but that’s bullshit and it plays exactly into what these ghouls want: privatization of everything.
Without even realizing it, they’ve manufactured your consent to transition to relying entirely on (usually wealthy or corporate) donors.
Then we just have another propaganda outlet masquerading as news.
It’s going to be devastating for rural communities.
One of the most frustrating things I constantly see on this site… There’s literally nothing dems could have done here.
Be mad at them for things that actually make sense. But also, when you focus entirely on Democrats every single time the Republicans (with majorities in both houses, the presidency, and the Supreme Court all captured), do some heinous shit, it makes you look like a shill.
Do it! Every episode is hilarious, but the ones with Martin Short are always hysterical if you wanted a recommendation for where to start…
If you do like it, I would suggest considering starting from the beginning, as it’s really fucking funny to listen to how his relationship with producer and co-host Matt Gourley has evolved.
Also, Sona is on it and she’s awesome.
Criminal mastermind
And we all know that VFX people are already super appreciated and always well-compensated for their work.
This comment is actually kind of slick, I gotta give it to you. Almost subliminal there…
Almost.
Might work on reddit though!
Typically (always?) it’s the government that is doing the “clawing back”
Of course they would.
The question was “should they” not “would they”
Are they? Do they not just have a (probably very robust) plan through their job like everyone else? I.e. taking money from their paycheck to pay for it? Of course having such a massive workforce would allow them to offer great insurance, I imagine.
I could be wrong, but I don’t believe judges are on Tricare or anything like that.
If true, the implications of that are just so fucking disgusting… Because, presumably, it’s mainly just the one thing that they have in common
I was just talking about the concept of “illegal strikes” in general
It wouldn’t have been the entire show.
