He still got one thing left to lose, and that’s another story I would celebrate.

Death that has an actual positive influence, and ends negative influence should be celebrated.

Him dying would make me, all the SH families, and a lot of people that have wanted him to stfu since his first public appearance smile (positive influence), while ending his career (negative influence.

The good and bad definitions vary between people, and that’s ok, different groups will celebrate different ones.

I don’t agree with murder being the method they die by, until their negative influence is so high that I start to consider it an execution instead of murder.

I really don’t get how people can see what Charlie Kirk has said and celebrate this man’s message. Our country is already fallen to idiocy.

It’s better to think of it more like a virtue signalling club. It’s the epitome of in vs out group.

It doesn’t matter what your group beleives/say, but when someone in your group beleives or say something you’ve gotta do it +1. So they’re all trying to one up each other to be like “see I’m not one of them, I’m one of you… No actually, I’m more like you than you”

It’s actually, unfortunately, a very common/normal social group interaction. Like, everyone does it, but normally in small amounts, or about harmless topics.

E.g a bunch of metal heads talking about metal bands (which coincidentally all have death in the name) "I really like ‘mega death’ ", “yeah but they’re not as heavy as ‘death’”, “well they’ve got nothing on ‘napalm death’” etc.

It’s the actual terrifying result of online echo chambers. More extreme people egg each other on and get more extreme. And it’s ironically what they always accuse “the left/libs” of doing

It’s because to them the only thing that mattered was his in-group status. He was a “great Christian”, not because he followed Jesus, but simply because he identified as such and did it loudly.

They don’t see what he said. Most of the probably haven’t actually listened to him or even thought about him before this.

But even if they had listened to him in the past, or looked him up now, the grounding bias of “he’s a good person”/“he’s on our side” has been established. That’s a bias that’s nearly intractable.

Alex Jones went on his show the day Charlie Kirk died and within 20 minutes of the shots started exploiting the whole story for his own gains, letting the video of the shot hitting Kirk play on loop, in slowmo, “zoom in on that” while plugging his products and rambling about the left. He is a disgusting piece of shit grifter that doesn’t stop exploiting people’s misery, even if it’s one of his own. Kirk wasn’t even pronounced dead before Jones started building a narrative around it. If I were someone from Kirks family or company I would sue the living shit out of Jones for this, it is vile and disgusting even his co-host was a little taken aback by it.

Cry harder you sentient anyerusm. Cry much harder and feel way more unsafe. Then you’ll know what it’s like to be queer and why I couldn’t give a damn about whether you live or die

Almost as if any of these grifters don’t believe anything they themselves say. I thought it would be more comforting that these people were idiots, but no, its just evil.

Republicans keep acting like they weren’t the ones starting this trend. They were nasty towards Obama for 8 years. And Trump came in and increased the nastiness towards anybody that said anything against him.

The guy that shot the Kirk was still one of them, just from a sect that couldn’t stand him.

If anything, from recent assassinations only Luigi could be connected with the left, but even then it looks more like he did it due to personal experience with UnitedHealth.
