Everytime I pop into Marks & Spencer I grab a bag of these, they have a light batter so they’re always really crispy!

They do a great honeycomb ice cream.

Their chicken breasts are better than other supermarkets near me.

They do packs of four sub rolls which are just right for doing hot dogs with Herta jumbo sausages. Aldi’s are slightly too big and misshapen for this.

    Oh, and their cheesecake.

I have, so far, never bought food from M&S. It’s probably more of a case of “there isn’t one anywhere near where I live” rather than a deliberate shunning.

I have, however, eaten some “percy pig” sweets and some crisps that were so fancy that you put them in a bowl, rather than eat them straight from the packet.

    Delicious.

Nice M&S advert, I guess Lemmy is in the big leagues now!

I can’t wait for the vultures to properly descend when they sense there’s an untapped market ripe for the picking :\

Agreed, someone describing something as McDonald’s fries would not entice me as they are so inconsistent. Are they like the cold floppy fries? Or the bland unsalted ones that just taste like cardboard.

KFC and Burger King have stepped up their fries. KFC ones still have crappy texture but they coat them in some seasoning that makes them a lot more palatable, this puts them above maccies for me. Burger king the last few times I’ve been have nailed down the texture, crispy outside, fluffy inside, and they taste like potato.

I haven’t seen them for a while, but they used to do the most amazing frozen chicken nugs.

Just a million times better than even the fresh stuff you would get from Asdas.
