In a stunning admission, Leavitt told Bartiromo that mandatory conscription – not seen since the Vietnam War – had not been ruled out by her boss.

All of the people I work with regardless of age, gender, race, or bank account are fully wanting a draft to send “libs, LGBTQ, black, brown, etc” people to the front lines to die or war will somehow turn them straight.
Because sending people who hate war to go to war is going to work out absolutely swimmingly, I’m sure. You definitely won’t have people constantly going AWOL or refusing orders or, god forbid, organizing as a unit after they’ve been given weapons and training to kill their superior officers and take the base on home soil for their own.
These people are fucking morons asking for the worst possible outcomes.
Unfortunately that’s the only outcome I see after conscription. It’s been a stressful month and maybe it’s just my bad mood, but I don’t see any path forward from conscription that doesn’t lead through open, violent civil war. I mean look how well training Mujahideen went, let’s just train American Liberals (who profess to hate guns) this time.
What a fine bunch of people you work with.
Have you thought about a new job?
Sounds like some people need to be reminded why OSHA exists.
I work in the mining industry I’ve worked here for 21 years now, I’m born and raised here most of them are from outa state I’m not leaving out of spite.
Many black veterans of WW2 went on to support the civil rights movement or to oppose the Klanners in their homeland. I wouldn’t be surprised if gay furry drone operators would be the next wave of militant activists if conscription is a thing.
I’m not trying to pick a fight with you … but did you say anything? Like did you call em out and tell em they’re brain is being held down by stupid while being fucked by crazy?
I’m not trying to say go cussing at them… but I see so many stories like this. “At my such and such they said such and such…” And then it’s like, what did y’all just let it go?
Make noise. Call em out. Make them uncomfortable. I do it. You say stupid shit like that, then I’m gonna say stupid shit like “Well if this is a holy war, the Christians should go first. God might be mad if you send the gays.”
I’m sorry if I’m coming off rude. It just we got to stand up for ourselves. Not just big protests, but even small spaces. It why I dislike the people on here that go. “Posting online doesn’t help blah blah.” YES the fuck it does. Letting them know in every aspect of their lives that someone somewhere out there won’t take their shit makes them mad. It ruins their lives.
So call them out every where. Say something atleast.
Again, I’m sorry, this isn’t all directed at you, my friend.
No I don’t say anything to them. When Covid was going on they were insane and I did try to correct them about it but that quickly escalated to the point where I was getting death threats and I had to be moved to another crew. Since then I just listen and observe them.
I mean, I guess I’m just cut from a different cloth. If someone threatened me with death, I would go ape shit. They only did to shut you up, and it sounds like they got what they wanted. Seriously, just cause they aren’t sending you death threats now doesn’t mean they don’t want you any less dead. So why keep quite? They’re crazy? Shit you are insane then.
I’ve been threatened for my beliefs before, and I straight up told the dude I would gut him and shit in the wound. Of course they’re gonna act crazy, but they’re pussies. Think about it. They are threatened by gay folks. Some of the chillest folks. Trans folks make them break down. They’re weak. They use threats of violence to scare us, and we all go. “They’re crazy they threatened me with death.” Every day these fuckers are threatening you with death, just under their breathe. But the moment you start threatening them back, either they’ll go “it was just a joke.” Or “I didn’t mean it like that.” Or they’ll cower away.
In my rant, I will say, be ready to fight. Even if you aren’t a fighter, always be aware of what weapons or items you have around. Remember, knees and faces are weak and no such thing as a fair fight. Pull hair. Bite. Jam a finger in an eye. Tyson their ear. Whatever it takes to win.
I am really sorry you have to deal with it. I wish I could clone myself and send my crazy ass to these folks. I just can’t back down from it. Maybe it’s the way my mama raised me, but if you’re gonna threaten the communities I care about and the people I care about, we can spill blood. We can spill it in the gutters, in the streets, and on the rocks.
Please do be safe, though.
I appreciate the concern, trust me I’m perfectly fine and safe I’ve been through a lot in my life. I was diagnosed with a severe mental illness when I was a teenager and have struggled with that most of my life. And in all honesty dealing with these asshats is a walk in the park compared to my darkest days as a teenager.
We should send Debbie’s fat ass from accounting. Fuck her, and the rest of her magat friends.
And if you didn’t report them to HR, you’re part of the problem.
I’m with you 110% but it’s so bad here that everyone from the top down is like this. The mining industry is pretty bad.
Jesus, if I knew I could 100% get an abuse payout from being abused at work I’d wear a wire or invest in some camera glasses, get a lawyer & burn that place to the fucking ground. “Mine owner” sounds like they’d make for a nice fat pinata.
I bet they don’t even give you the HR training that would inform you how exposed they are here.
Yep pretty much you hit the nail on the head. We don’t really get any training on HR issues. I remember a few years ago there was a female employee that complained she was getting sexually harassed. HR didn’t do anything. All they did was move her to a different department and the person who was doing the harassing got away with less than a slap on the wrist.
For one incident, that might be enough, but if you can show it’s a culture there, that the people at the top knew or participated, then it could get expensive.
Yes very true. The other issue is that being in a small rural town there is a lot of the good old boys you scratch my back I scratch yours happens a lot here not just at the job site, but in life in general here.
