Its kinda funny no one remembers when the snowflake meme came along around 2000 or so it was intended to portray republicans and mainly boomers. They were the first people I thought of for years when you called someone a snowflake. Sometime later after having been called that enough they started using it on others. Now everyone is using equally. We all know snowflakes/republicans can’t stand things being equal.

Other memes everyone uses these day like fake news came about around the same times. Fake news was born as Faux news aka Fox News. In both cases the side using it the most these days are the ones the expression was coined for. This makes me smile often.

I was in South Africa in the early 2000’s for work. They still had the “Whites only” signage on some bathrooms. Not being white, I didn’t know what to do. My white colleagues thought I was being dumb and mansplained the end of Apartheid but I refused to go in there. I grew up a yellow kid in Savannah, GA… I know what values racist old white men hang onto.

My mom saw a “Colored bathroom” when she was very little on a trip to the big city and was under the impression that it was just a regular bathroom but colorfully painted.

This is going to be the quietest superbowl ever between the half time rightoid tantrum and the fact that nobody gives a shit about the seahawks and patriots.

I didn’t know who was playing nor have I cared much about either team, but this is now a Seahawks family until Kolanaki gets their pizza.

I’m with you! I know nothing about any of this.

I mean, I know the Superbowl is soonish, and that it’s the final of the gridiron season. But I don’t know who the two teams are, or why there’s controversy about the halftime show, or anything.

          But you get that pizza!

I prefer “genetically modified snowflakes” or at the very least “paper chain cutout snowflakes”. Real snowflakes are unique and pretty despite the fact you can’t see their true shape without help. Those othef type of snowflakes are similar to each other with some minor defects that separate them from being exact copies.
