Knowledge is built on justified, true beliefs. I know and believe the sun will rise tomorrow. You can believe shit on faith, or lack of evidence, but I’d disagree if someone claims to “know” gods or ghosts exist and ask for their evidence.

No mention of Moonrise Kingdom!? I finally got around to watching Asteroid City recently and enjoyed it
With Catholics you’re supposed to confess to a priest, but same difference to them, basically
Woman here in my mid 30s. I went through a few rough relationships, and in the last longterm one shifted my mindset from “of course I’ll have kids” to “I won’t put my body through that”
Since leaving that relationship, being in and out of therapy, and meeting someone that made me feel love in a way I didn’t think was possible, I’ve changed my mind back. I’d be fine with it if it never happened, but there’s something incredibly romantic about it to me. Being in such a vulnerable state where I’d need help but be supported. Putting my body through that, then having a common goal in raising them as a team.
Pepperoni, no sausage, dont give a fuck if pineapple touches my sauces
Would make sense since new parents lacking sleep struggle a bit
Yeah, and part of that skill can be recognizing some meals arent worth it just to enjoy as a hobby. Like I dont fuck with recipes I cant make large batches for leftovers and freeze
Fully automatic gay space luxury communism tyvm
We used to sing “I been beat up and died, I been beeaat up” in my day
Doing nothing is worse than taking rights.
No, the latter is absolutely still worse.
I tell forced birthers even if I am murdering a conscious being, I’m justified in protecting myself from unnecessary, nonconsented harm
Dementia doesn’t follow a linear decline. He could have good days and worse days
Its the opposite for me. Ive held a lot of resentment but have been working through it. I’m seeing more of the good in people, just needed to build stronger boundaries for myself
I’m in some circles that would never support her because she sat down with Hasan Piker. I would absolutely support her, but she’s pretty polarizing. Same was said of Bernie despite him having one of the most successful grassroots attempts in history. Blows my mind that because they’re populists they’re immediately discounted by some, even though the positions they support are the ones we desperately need.
Forgive my rant, but just because Trump is a populist with us vs them rhetoric does not make them equal by any fucking stretch of the imagination, and it drives me insane that the friends I’m thinking of are so blinded by the label.
From the article:
Singh said the low number of rare breakthrough cases show how effective the vaccine is, and that there are many reasons breakthrough cases might occur, including someone who has a condition that causes their immunity to wane over time
Yeah, I’m pretty set on blaming anyone that voted for Trump. I do get annoyed by people that voted third party or just not at all, but its not their fault by any means. Even though the latter combined would have made a difference, it was republican states that withheld hundreds of thousands from the ability to vote, and that mixed with people that voted for the Republicans cutting voting rights are the source of the problem.
Gonna disagree with the anarchist viewpoint because physical damage to inanimate objects can still cause PTSD, battered spouse syndrome with enough incidents over time, etc. It’s the threat of danger that matters.
Just because it doesn’t fit your ideological view doesn’t mean people are lying by looking at it differently
Actual fact: abortion is a life saving medical procedure
As an AFAB Missourian I’m fucking terrified.
Speak for yourself, please. I am willing to change my beliefs with new information. Unless you have evidence of an asteroid heading toward our planet or whatever, I’ll stick with what I do know.
Again, faith means belief without evidence. You have every indication the sun will be fine, the earth will be fine, etc.
