Only four of the seventeen warthunder leaks have been about American equipment (and one manual for the export model of the F-15E (that IIRC was specifically the Saudi version? It was a whole thing at one point)).

It seems likely that this meme is a reference to how fucking notoriously US diplomatic staff in china absolutely cannot keep it in their pants (note that it’s specifically about staff in china, we’re the ones crossing the borders here). I dunno, this doesn’t seem like “blaming foreigners” when it’s such a problem there has to be a public policy to combat dipshit american diplomats falling for it.

I don’t get it. Like I’m a slut too, but I’ve never considered talking about work with people I’m sleeping with in a foreign country, even if it’s not defense work.

You should see some of my DMs - if they’re horny enough, people will say anything to keep an attractive person interested in talking to them.

Hey defense nerds! If you have information about the specific makeup of current-gen Chobham armor, I will 100% fly to you and let you pound my ass in exchange for it (been curious about that one for years now, warthunder has been disappointingly unforthcoming…)

(side note: 98% of my interactions on lemmy have been great, but wow that 2%)

Oh yeah, the only fun parts of reddit were the few friends I made and the mountain of horror stories I collected. Lemmy is so so much better right now, my god.

That brings back memories of some of the unhinged comments I would get when I posted nudes on a different site (not why I stopped, I just don’t really have a good place to post for sapphic focused content rn). I guess I’ve just always known I’m desirable enough to keep people I’m interested in talking to me and to understand that while other internet exhibitionists may very much enjoy chatting, rping, and other fun stuff it’s inherently casual and the best way to keep getting attention is to figure out what the person I’m chatting with is hoping to get out of it (usually interesting conversation involving effort).

To summarize: the naked lady on the internet is not going to date you, but you can have fun with it. Don’t make it weirder than she wants, you just get blocked. Also git gud.

And if you want a specific warthunder leak you just gotta make bold and incorrect statements about it on their forums. Though I hear providing coke in Vegas in something skimpy can get you far more classified information than you think.

Trying to explain to my boss why the feds are there asking questions about a picture of my tits with “silica-manganese doped ceramics are terrible at defeating kinetic penetrators” scrawled across them…

(Big mood about sapphic content though, some folks really struggle to accept not being the target audience. Lemmy really isn’t big enough yet to support an actual girl4girl community, but I have hopes that one day…)

Listen, somebody has to make HR earn their paycheck…

(And yeah that’s where I am with it. I appreciate how sapphic lemmy is, but idk if it has enough community for such a community, and even if it does, I’ve moderated far too much of the internet to ever create a lemmy community)

Sure you’re the most notorious troll on lemmy, but this is such obvious shit-stirrin’ that it feels… idk, kinda beneath you?

“I don’t know why this deeply unpopular comment was downvoted, they seem totally reasonable to me” it’s just so straightforward. lacks the élan your comments usually have.

          Is the internet maturing?

No, you just stumbled upon a fringe where the signal/noise ratio is slightly better.

Your conclusion is that it’s always getting blamed on the chinese, and your evidence is an extremely famous series of scandals that did not involve china…?

How can this not be sarcastic? Has Andrew Tate actually warned about Asians?

If people take everything at face value it’s no wonder that Trump succeeds with making America great again. He says so, it must be true, let’s vote for him.

I’d argue it’s rather healthy for americans to not just assume that someone spouting rhetoric is being sarcastic. That attitude of extending the benefit of the doubt to people undeserving of it got us into this mess in the first place.

(Tho in this case, it’s not that people don’t realize they’re being sarcastic - it’s that what they’re saying with that sarcasm is really, really off the mark, and they’re being incredibly shitty in how they said it)

I don’t get it. What does he say? Americans don’t seek the fault at themselves and have racial, age and gender prejudices.

If that hurts, it’s time to do some soul searching. How is that offensive to a wrong person?

Yeah that’s exactly the problem - it’s a meme criticizing ourselves for being too stupid not to simp out classified info to a pretty girl. The girl isn’t the one being called out here, it’s a joke about how frequently US contractors are caught doing this because of how dumb and uncontrollably horny they are.

Being called racist or sexist in response to a meme making a much more nuanced and cutting critique (especially one expressed in such a truly disgusting way) doesn’t wound the ego or anything, it’s just fuckin’ annoying.

Being called racist or sexist in response

It only addresses the people who blame the girl. You don’t do that, you shouldn’t feel offended.

That’s giving them a bit more credit than they should reasonably be given, but that’s beside the point:

It ain’t that I’m somehow offended, I’m just annoyed at how smug they acted while they were spectacularly missing the point (and that they did it in an incredibly crude way).
