Disney owns Marvel, Netflix owns DC. I’m now genuinely worried about Gunn’s efforts to repair the DC cinematic universe.

RIP AEW. looks like they’re going to have to find a new TV and Streaming deal because WWE isn’t going to allow them to ALSO be on Netflix.

edit: apparently from bsky it looks like the tv networks aren’t a part of thi deal either

I betcha $10 they won’t consolidate their streaming platforms so they can milk us out of more of our money.

It would not be that cheap since Netflix Premium already costs $25/month and HBO Max Premium is $23/mo. At best, they might do a lower initial price to get some positive press, but it will quickly get increased. Both Netflix and HBO Max are notorious for price increases and they both limit 4K quality to their most expensive plan.

It’ll go through. This is the easiest administration to bribe, ever. Clear cut fraudsters are getting pardons left and right and any company with regulatory trouble seems to have their problems evaporate overnight after kissing the ring and paying to play.

That’s not a given in this case, only because there was a competing offer from Paramount-Skydance and they have Trump’s ear. And they’re already making a stink about the process being unfair to them.

And honestly, of the two, WB going to Skydance would be much, much worse. Look what they’ve already done to Paramount. Not to say either of these deals are good for consumers, of course.
