To have a third party you have to change the way voting works. …a third party will never get traction.
Nah, people say that to make you not wanna vote third party. If everyone voted third party, then we’d have a viable third party.
You don’t think a third party would get traction of everyone voted for it? Trust me, it’d get traction. People need to stop thinking it can’t happen, or it will never happen. That’s how you got Trump, by the way. Look at all the people who didn’t even vote. Imaging if they would have voted third party. The numbers would prove that third parties are viable.
Dude, you gotta face it. People are afraid to take a risk. Every fucking election it’s: “Oh sure, third parties would be awesome. But not THIS election. THIS election is too important. Next time!”
Every. Fucking. Election.
You keep on being afraid and scratching your head. I’ll keep laughing at how the duopoly is failing you. :)
Let me know when that fantasy you described becomes a reality and I’ll be happy to vote third party alongside you. Until then, I’m stuck voting for the least bad option.
Yeah, and while you keep voting for the least bad option, don’t be mad when people like Trump win. Because that’s the exact mindset that caused his win. I voted third party last election, so none of it’s my fault! lol
Thats an interesting way to think of it. I think the complete opposite. I am actually one of the reasons Trump became president in 2016. I wasted my vote and voted third party in a swing state in 2016.
Voting for who you like, isn’t a wasted vote. It’s the point of voting. The duopoly wants you to be afraid to vote third party. That’s how they stay in power.
You’re falling for their fear. It’s part of their plan.
Not me. I’ll keep on voting third party. Every. Single. Time. :)
Yeah, but the difference is, I don’t mind Trump winning, because you all deserve it for being spinless. So when I lose, I take pride in it because i wasn’t afraid to vote for who I wanted to. :)

Probably not much a point in continuing as we seem to live in different realities here.
You enjoy losing. Every. Single. Time :)
Ok! You too! (How’d the last election work out for ya?) :)
Worked out well in 2020 and in 2022 (Governor), win some you lose some. 3rd party loses them all.

I spent election night laughing.
