Human languages for sure.

isn’t that the same?
animals for sure
Any human language.
Probably rather humans. Animals might not be able to reason well and what they have to say may be quite annoying. I mean my cat likely just keeps asking about food and to be brushed. I’d rather hear the meow instead of actual words. Same with birds. Which begs the question, if you’d understand what birds say, would you still hear the song of it?
It’d just be hours of “LET’S FUUUUCK! LET’S FUCK, LET’S FUCK, LET’S FUUUUUCK!” every damn morning.
“HEY HUN, YOU WANT SOME OF THIS BEEFCAKE? YOU AND ME BABY, LET’S SMASH! OR ANYONE ELSE?”
I wish that some of the people around me only spoke in meows or barks.
I’ve got great news, but you’ll need to start making transfem friends
Any human language…
Does this mean I know Proto-Indo-European, too? Or only currently living languages? Or only languages we have written representations of?
There was a gorilla that learned sign language. It learned hundreds/thousands (?) of words.
…once you got past the initial cool/cute/fun factor, conversation was about as stimulating speaking to a toddler.
Animals? Cool but likely useless.
I’d rather speak any human language I’d like.
Animals, they are way better than humans anyway. Although they do say never to meet your heroes…
While some of the more intelligent animals could be interesting to see just how far they could go, most animals are going to mostly be vocalizing for the purposes of procreation. The wonderful sounds of the forest are millions of bugs and animals screaming, “hey, wanna fuck?” as loud as possible. Other vocalizations will be similarly utilitarian like, “look out, predator”, “holy fuck this hurts” or “back off!” Not exactly stimulating conversation.

How else are you going to know if your horse needs glasses?
Human language. Then I could watch undubbed Anime and stuff again because I can’t read too much.
Definitely animals. I want to be able to speak to my cat. Although speaking any human language would certainly be useful.
I just want to talk to my tiger cat for 5 minutes so I can convince him to wear kitty socks in the winter, he’d be warmer and less grumpy. He likes to “tent” in these months, and his little baby feet are always so cold!
Second one. That would be so cool/special.
Flawed question. Humans are animals and all animals speak the language of “fuck!”.
Ooh this is a fun question. I would definitely go for speaking to animals. Human languages can be learnt with study in the real world but speaking to animals on more than just a basic level is magical or super powers type shit.
I get visions of living in a cabin in the woods chatting with my bird and squirrel and fox friends. And developing an understanding with the local bear to watch each other’s backs.
Or raising armies to help with the uprising.
Oh that’s a lovely vision! Can I move into your cabin?
Oh absolutely you would be more than welcome. I think in this vision, it would be certain people that can hear what others can’t. And you would definitely hear them too!
