Except if young people get considerably cheaper then firms will switch older minimum wage staff to younger ones where they can. I also doubt he’ll be capping this at 18, more like 21 when it shakes out.

Congratulations on Farage for volunteering to legally change his age to permanently 18 and give himself minimum wage.
Wouldn’t be the worse for placements as part of a uni course tbh as those are hard to find. But it shouldn’t be by a lot. Ideally you could have a system where the wage is decided later or a tax break or something so they will pay 20% less and you’d still get the same money, but honestly this is farage so it’s probably nothing decent at all
