    those bastards used to charge $50 for anything crossing the border, now its too much work???
    never use UPS or FEDEX.

      Fedex sends invoices to the customer for the cost of “Duties and Taxes” weeks after a package has already been delivered. I don’t know why anyone would pay it especially when they aren’t given the option to refuse the package.

        I learned that lesson when I got a note from a debt collector about the tarrif I didn’t pay because the bill looks exactly like junk mail.

          I don’t see what grounds they have to send it to debt collections seeing that you didn’t sign any contract agreeing to pay those fees with FedEx unless you were the shipper and not the receiver. I suppose they could try to collect but then I don’t see how they can apply it to your credit ratiing.

      That used to be free money. Now they actually have to earn it they are uninterested.
