At this point, “avoiding politics” is more of a political statement then talking politics.

The Tonight Show has always been politically neutral, or cowardly, depending on how you look at at it. I remember Johnny Carson being the same way, back in the 70s.

We know. Your a milquetoast pussy that will read whatever the teleprompter tells you, and you’ll fuck up your lines all the same.

Not even a D level SNL alumni

Don’t you get it? He breaks character. He’s basically Carol Burnett.

I mean he breaks character… But it’s because he’s not that great of a comedian or actor.

Fame. Can you imagine the ego boost of having your own nightly show broadcasting worldwide?

He doesn’t wanna risk it to take any stand, and because of that he’ll continue to earn his place in history as anything but interesting or extraordinary.

i mean sure but also: can you imagine the ego boost of going down on the right side of history? it’s not like the amount of people that would respect him for speaking out is insignificant.

Reminded of the time when RuPaul put the fear of God into Jimmy Fallon.

The man is spineless and clearly doesn’t know how to navigate any subject he sees as too touchy.
