    But this is exactly what the GOP has been pushing for anyhow, for years now. It’s all written out in Project 2025, amongst other documents.

    It’s always been about rules for thee but not for me.

    Sure, this needs to be pointed out again and again, but new it is not.

      Yeah, if anything, comparing this conservative line of thinking to previously established DEI policies grants it way more validity than it deserves. It’s hard to find the best ways to point out but not normalize their blatant hypocrisy.

      See “free speech” with conservatives going after anyone making comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Or the “professor hit list” that Toilet Paper USA ran for years. Or being upset about people sharing their pronouns.

      The rules don’t really matter. It’s in-group/out-group. They want government so small that it would force me to detransition and become a brood mare for a white Christian man.
