Despite his support for Trump, Ragland has become increasingly vocal about the need for immediate trade resolution. “We desperately need to get something rectified quickly with China, our biggest export customer,” he told CNN. “We wanna encourage the administration to get a proactive trade deal done.”

    I think what will happen is no orders = no crops. They’ll grow something else or nothing else. And that’ll create a scarcity or perception of scarcity.

    But maybe I’m wrong and some things will get cheaper, or at least not more expensive.

      You might well see a temporary drop in some prices. But as farmers go bankrupt and the land gets bought by larger and larger corporations, food prices will rise. As all food production sources narrow even more than it already has.
