The democrats are losing on purpose so they can keep fundraising instead of having to actually govern.
Fuck those assholes. I’m gonna vote for them in the midterms so they get less money and have to do their jobs instead. They’ll hate that.
Depending on POV it’s either
- They are controlled opposition.
- They are controlled, but by big money, which is why they don’t push for the things the voters want, but instead try to sell them on the things that their big money donors/elites want.
Controlled opposition make sense.
Democratic party spreads anti-gun propaganda to people left-of-center
Simultaneously, republican party spread pro-gun propaganda to people right-of-center
So now you end up with the kkk having automatic rifles and all the non-fascists ate the propaganda and disarmed themselves.
This would be most genius strategy by the oligarch’s “united front” of democrats and republicans, divide and conquer the people, the rich be eating gold-coated popcorn watching the working class fight a “culture war” against each other. Just a perfect plan to keep themselves in power, bravo!
