I’m convinced that the phrase ‘counting the dead’ doesn’t mean anything to Americans anymore … it won’t mean anything to them until they start seeing piles of body bags or mounds of human bodies in the streets before they think that things are going bad.

If this is the analogy of a frog boiling in water … America’s frog eyes are starting to grow grey as their skin starts to harder in the extremely hot water
