Some went further, demanding the White House defend Tel Aviv from retaliation. A small number of lawmakers criticized Israel and urged Washington to stay out of the conflict.

I flat out do not think Iran should have nukes and violence is justified to stop them. I think it’s simply wise.
Israel is the only one is a position to stop them. That that is a huge reason the US and the West cannot shake their support of them.

They very likely have nukes there, but if there are they aren’t under their own control. The US has to approve the launch, or flat out holds the controls.

Good thing Iran flat out gave up their weapons program years ago and has allowed inspectors in to monitor the civilian nuclear project to verify they arent actually making weapons and were negotiating even more concessions in order to have sanctions lifted before this
