I agree with Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, that is a good way to exponentially increase his kill count
A prolonged depression might actually be the best thing for this country in terms of breaking the spell Trump has on people and realigning political parties. The biggest threat would be private ownership scooping up even more assets, so we’d have to get radical with solutions there.
$0.9 trillion is nothing compared to a $37 trillion national debt, even ignoring the fact that they just want to transfer our wealth to the rich.
It’s not “creating new equity,” it’s visiting a loan shark and putting your body down as collateral. The national parks are ours, not theirs to do with as they please.
Jesus, Trump is really in deep with Musk.
Also, the 15% stock drop is nothing compared to the decline in actual sales. The P/E ratio is still way too high, but the stock will drop eventually if this decline continues. Keep up the Tesla dealership protests too.
As I understand it, they didn’t have a strong plan beyond season one initially, but the long delay (partly thanks to the writers’ strike) gave them the opportunity to plan out the rest of the series in one go. (Stiller isn’t a writer on the show, and apparently “idea guy” doesn’t fall under union rules.)
A party of bullies.

I just didn’t want the top comment to be such a shitty one
What you’ve described is a problem with most blockbusters of the modern era (since the early 2010s at least): inauthenticity, the feeling like the movie is making fun of you for investing in it even for a moment, because there’s always another stupid joke coming to undermine any real emotion. This exhausts the audience, and I think it’s the real underlying reason for Marvel fatigue. The She-Hulk series was the purest distillation of this and it was reviled, and I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
I don’t think this era of blockbusters will be remembered fondly.
I love my Ioniq 6 too. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned
The best case scenario would be for an asteroid to split apart over Washington DC and impact the White House, the Capitol, and the Supreme Court
Lazy articles like this drive me crazy. It’s not “largely due to tariffs.” It started before Trump was even in office! It’s because Musk’s brand is finally toxic enough that no one is buying Teslas anymore.
Sales are cratering everywhere. Australia down by over 70%. Europe and China down by 50%. US data seems to be somewhere between a 10-30% drop.
It just depends on the portfolio. Some stocks in mine have lost 25-30% for reasons entirely attributable to Trump.
