I write anything of substantial length in a text editor and copy / paste into the final medium. It’s not the answer you were looking for, but it’s a great workflow that prevents losing everything if the browser tab gets closed or reloaded by mistake.

On Monday, I spent about ten minutes filling out webforms pasting the same message to each of my representatives at different levels of government (one was surprisingly asshole levels of interaction, but I suspect that was incompetence rather than deliberate). I have insomnia due to bi-polar. This couldn’t be more true. It took many years to learn how to manage it.

In Oakland, some bars have it and give it away. If you’re in a city that has a large unhoused population, it’s prudent to notice whether establishments in your area may do the same.
