WTF, I’ve been doing this for years. I buy a new pc every 10 years, shoes when you can see through them and clothes when mothers start covering their children’s eyes as I mow the lawn.
I guess the next step is growing food for yourself and your neighbors, installing solar panels (its spending money, i know, but it reduces the money continuously flowing up, so its a win if you ask me).
Me too, i wrote that but i live in a small rented appartment. Im thinking about growing basic stuff like basil, rosemary, lemon balm. Its nowhere close to growing actual food, but its something.
The only thing on your list that I regularly do is order take-out, from small, local, mom & pop places. I already avoid fast food and chain restaurants. But my local Chinese restaurant isn’t part of the oligarchy, and I walk there to pick up my orders, so I see no reason to avoid them.
Anti Consumerism is the best way everyone can fight this.
Stop all subscriptions like Netflix, Disney, Hulu, Prime, cable, YouTube, Spotify, iCloud, ….
Stop buying new clothes, stop buying new shoes, stop buying new phones, new computers, new yoga pants, …
Stop consuming.
Buy the necessities only: groceries, laundry detergent, soap, toothpaste, etc.
Don’t eat out, don’t order delivery.
Stop feeding the oligarchy.
They will break quickly.

I told you Daisy Dukes and Croc’s were a terrible choice for lawn work!
They are the only choice in my household
Wall-to-wall of daisy dukes and crocs for as far as the eye can see!
It is yes.
Hopefully this one day shows what a full general shutdown can do.
I’ve been doing all of that for years, what else you got?
Yeah me too :[ I only break that rule around Xmas. Weed and indie video games are the bulk of my spending outside of mortgage and groceries.
Idk how I can not spend money harder.

And for those of us that are in rental locations that cannot do this… idk. I’ve been sitting on this for a while with no good ideas.

Smash some windows in corporate HQs?
