… I mean, it’s a war on the commercialisation of christmas, as opposed to its religious source…

although St Nicholas, whom Santa (saint) claus is based, is a… saint.

Christmas isn’t Christan at all. It’s all older traditions that the sick Yahweh cult inserted itself into.

I don’t understand what he was trying to accomplish. Like simply: why? Is it cause Santa is a commie or something for being generous?

Well, he gives away toys out of kindless and live for childhood innocence…

So he is at least anti-capitalism…

funny that the rest of the holiday is all capitalism.

And I wouldn’t be too surprised if occasionally he goes out to recreationally hunt the homeless.

Journalists seem like they forgot how to use a thesaurus. You don’t always have to have a different headline than others, sometimes the same words are the right words.

People like this are what the current slate of Republicanism is breeding, I guess. Nobody asking them for anything and they bust this shit out with no reason other than just trying to be a shithead to get people to react so they can call them snowflakes.

Sun rising in the morning? Woke.

      Santa Claus? Woke.

      Jesus Christ? woke.

Everything is woke to modern republicans. If somebody invented a virus that made people slightly more compassionate they would hide indoors for the rest of their lives.

I’ve seen photoshop images more realistic than this. These aren’t even the usual uncanny AI that creeps people out.

    Oh, and it’s idiotic, but that’s self-evident.

I’m wondering the same. Like was it really some standard cut and paste work and then some generative fill? It’s got a certain 00s vintage look to it like it’s not current interpretations of “AI” with text prompt input.
