              Yes, if you threaten violence against elected officials I will report you to the FBI. And for now I have reported your comments to the mods and to your admin. You are violating TOS on multiple instances.

                  He didn’t mention any elected officials, so no reports made by me or the other mods that I know of. He ranted about Nazis, but I don’t know any elected officials who are Nazis, so all good on my end anyway. :)

            That isn’t how the usa does all elections. For example, the Cheeto was elected by the electoral vote but not the popular vote. See how that works?

            Now, I’d certainly support a direct democracy where each vote counted equally. That would be great. You and me, we can support it together! Yay team!

              And the electoral vote is in place because the Republicans and the Democrats you voted for choose to keep it in place. See how that works? Dems love it when the electoral vote works in their favor, and hate it when it doesn’t. Republicans do the same thing.

              I’m totally fine with popular vote. How come no republican has changed it? How come no democrat has changed it? Oh because they both favor it when it works in their favor.

              I say fuck it, popular vote from now on. Let’s do it! I’d love that! I’m with you, comrade! So which pres candidates are pushing for it? Let’s support them. Give me a list.

      The Lemmy meltdown over this is gonna be wild. I’m already seeing posters in politics.world, saying that those dems need to be beheaded. Tha fuq you all on?!

      I’ll continue report every call to violence I see, even when directed toward Democrats. And if it’s extreme enough, I’ll forward and report posts to FBI.

      And yes, Lemmy. My local field office has called me directly after I’ve given tips and I directed them straight to the forums and users. I give my full name and number, and my state isn’t that big, so I have gotten call backs within 48 hours for some of my reports. I have no guilt at all about reporting violent threats to the FBI. Threatening the President or congressman is not a joke they take lightly. Regardless of political party.
