Trump administration must fund SNAP payments during the shutdown, judges rule

Two federal judges ruled nearly simultaneously on Friday that President Donald Trump’s administration must continue to fund SNAP, the nation’s biggest food aid program, using contingency funds during the government shutdown.

It wasn’t immediately clear how quickly the debit cards that beneficiaries use to buy groceries could be reloaded after the ruling. That process often takes one to two weeks.

Most likely event is Trump dies from a stroke before anything meaningful can happen. Then we vote out J.D. Vance in 2028.

Trump’s mother died at 88, and his father died at 93. I don’t think Trump (who’s 79) is in as poor of health as people have been speculating. I’d be genuinely surprised if he had a major stroke anytime soon.

hes only really overweight, possibly pre-diabetic, doubtful he has any serious symptoms. although he might have circulatory problems. trump is also a extreme germaphobe so he mostly goes the doctor the instant has any “disease”, rather than blow it off.
