Oh no, that’s not even the beginning of that yet, the real pain will come when democracy is completely dead.
If you think it’s bad now? You have no idea how bad it can get.
This is what people need to realise: Despite everything, the US still has a concept of free and fair elections (no national election has been blatantly called off or couped yet) and parts of the judiciary are still making a fuss about laws being broken.
While it may look bad now, remember that what we’re seeing is still miles from a full autocracy where elections are purely for show and the judiciary exists only to go after enemies of the state.
This is the liquidation of the country. Squeezing every last fraction of a penny of value out of the taxpayers and the systems that served us all.

I’m a pessimist and past few years have been showing how it can get worse even when I can’t imagine how much worse it can get.
