Local park needs volunteers removing some hawthorn so I’m gonna go get my arms scratched up, and then I’m helping my dad clear out his garden with trips to the skip

Off to the theatre tonight: a stage production of Alison Bechdel’s Fun Home.

I want to get the garden furniture out of the shed and resurrected tomorrow (sorry folks, I expect that it’ll be freezing rain for the next month once I do). The usual chores and then film night. I think it’s my choice this time. Maybe Mickey 17.

Then there is a coast walk that we have failed to do for a few weeks now. If the weather does hold, then that on Sunday.

Mini pub crawl solo tonight, run first thing then working tomorrow as it’s year end apart from my dad taking me out to birthday lunch which is nice. Club night through early Sunday, catch up with friends over Jitsi Sunday morning then sleep through to the evening hopefully

I’m cleaning the car tomorrow, plus packing for a few family nights away up north next week.

We’re taking the kids up to York. I’ve walked over most of Yorkshire but have never made it to the city itself, so it’ll be a first for us.

York’s lovely. This year we took our kids on a tour of God’s own country and stayed in Sheffield (where I went to university), York (where my wife went to university) and Whitby for the fish and chips!
