Is it your first day living under capitalism?

You’ve lived your entire life under it and most of your adult life, if not all of it under late stage capitalism and try you still act surprised at the commodification process.

The only reason you would think this is “weird” and out of the ‘ordinary’ is because inside your head your live in a fantasy idealised version of what you perceive the world to be and it really isn’t like that at all.

Maybe you think if you just vote for the right candidate and get the right party into power, the world can be pulled back from the ‘brink’.

    Wake up, you’re already dead!

Scanning QR to purchase politicians at a convention like it is a literal slave market is a new one which I have never heard before.

Is this your first day with reading comprehension? The weird part is having scan-to-donate QR codes on their name badges, not that politicians are being bought. No one is surprised that AIPAC dumps money into politicians.

Congratulations on successfully defeating the strawman, though

No, the only thing about it is its surprising that it took them this long to do it.
