None of his comments indicate an election. The only way it can happen before 29 is for Labour MPs to either vote for an election. Or leave the party all together.

It is very very unlikely either will happen. When voting no confidence in their leader and choosing a new leadership team is the other option.

At least 83 more members would have to both leave the party. And vote against the current government in. no confidence vote. Added to continuing to reject any leader the rest of labour PLP select to build the new gov.

Give. any party formed by those would still have issues winning an election over the right. Even if that many left the party. And all agreed to a new direction. It would be insane to risk such an election before building a stronger party platform and community support groups.

The better option would always be to try and convince 200 labour MPs (164+ if many have left the party already) to vote no confidence in Starmer. And agree to a more tolerable leader.

Early elections are only likely when a party is unable to hold a majority. Or considers it fairly likely they will win and gain a longer term. This is simply not the case with this government.

Far rage Is just looking to raise more money from doners.

Yep. But given he has listeners. It is important to make counter arguments to his lies. And repeat them as often as possible.

Cos the fucking media ain’t bothering,
