      I don’t view it any different than the kids who killed a classmate to impress Slenderman.

      Someone made up an urban legend, and now people believe it.

      Like, you do know that the origin is an Internet forum like 15 years ago right?

        I don’t know, I see a difference between a cReEpY thing posted in some random forum for fun and a thought experiment that provoked years of discussion. But I don’t know enough about the subject to meaningfully comment on it, however you may categorise it.
