I don’t drink, at all. Had very awful experiences with alcohol involving third parties while growing up so I decided that I was never going to drink. I hate what alcohol can do to people and how society seems so cool with drinking when it can destroy lives. Seems extremely hypocritical given how they see other drugs like weed.
If alcohol was discovered now it’d never be legalised.
Only to excess.
I used to believe in the myth that having one or two drinks per day is fine or even healthy.
Now I know the truth that there is no safe amount of alcohol, I don’t drink any more. Also because of my other health conditions, I should avoid alcohol.
A British friend of mine was shocked when the doctor told him that having ‘a beer or two’ every weekday makes him an alcoholic…
I used to but I haven’t in almost a decade. Honestly, after I stopped clubbing, I never saw the point. I guess it’s just not a substance I find that fun overall so it was easy to let it go. And the taste, my God, the taste… I can’t believe they can make neo-Nazi chatbots but they can’t make rum and Coke that only tastes like Coke. 😅
Frozen fruit, rum, and a juice of some sort. Blended.

Totally teetotal. Don’t like alcohol, I don’t judge others for it but I’m not a fan
Lots. Tap water, mostly.
Yes, I drink everything drinkable. Even water.
But you, of course, mean alcohol. Yes, I drink a lot. But not often. I’m not a kid anymore, so drinkday plus hangover can easily take 2-3 days. Not always convenient.
I drink everything drinkable
You might want to revise that statement. All liquids, even gasoline, chloroform, and dimethylmercury are “drinkable” once.
So? I drink them all. Just some liquids are drunk by me zero times yet.
I drink alcohol once in a while, socially, and only if I don’t have to drive that day or do any important things the next day.
I started some medication that made my desire to drink disappear. After a while, I tried having a beer with friends and just got an overwhelming desire to nap. My tolerance had disappeared. So I don’t really drink anymore, but I used to brew my own beer and occasionally drink way too much. I’ve also enjoyed not having to worry about being able to drive if an emergency happens etc. One of the big downsides is how obnoxious drunk people can be when you’re sober.
I don’t drink much, maybe a few times a year. Nothing against it it’s just not really for me and I feel like my mind is hard enough to wrestle uninhibited.
It also inhibits muscle synthesis which is not great if you enjoy lifting and want to make progress in the gym.
Hydrohomies raise your hands!
I’m an alcoholic, so I don’t allow myself to have alcohol at home. If I go out, I have a pretty strict four drink maximum. On rare occasions I’ll drink more if I’m with friends at some kind of event or spending the night out at clubs.
The smart option would be to stop drinking, especially considering the damage alcohol has done to my life. I’m probably not going to anytime soon though, because I love drinking and this system has worked really well for 4 years.
Back in the day, I used to put down at least half a liter of liquor a night. Shit was expensive.
Considering your past, it seems like you’re doing great, man, congrats! We can’t be perfect but we can get better.
It has been pretty bad, 60 beers a week plus a hard drink here and there. but it has gotten better since I quit my jobs. Maybe its because I cant afford to drink anymore though.
I love drinking! It’s lots of fun and a great way to meet people and beer is deliscious!
Unfortunately, it wrecks me physically and mentally afterwards, and makes me fat. So I typically only drink on special occasions these days, and try to keep my intake moderate. Damn shame, lol.
