Did the loss of her teeth have an interesting story attached? I generally think of dating and dentures existing at opposite ends of the adult age spectrum, though of course there are exceptions.
Like, yeah, this is the south
into martial arts as a hobby, so not as deep into it as I was
Your username checks out :)
Welcome to Lemmy!
I don’t know where I am
You are on the Lemmy website “lemm.ee”. You might have heard of Lemmy instances described as a bunch of Reddit websites that sync content to each other. I’m on the Lemmy website “sh.itjust.works”, but we can seemlessly have this conversation.
or what a peefed is but I’ll figure it out one day
Extending this analogy, imagine if Digg and HackerNews users could also post and comment on Reddit, and vice versa. That’s more or less the situation between Lemmy/Mbin/Piefed.
Different software, similar website layout, all syncing using the same underlying protocol.
Edit: Ah, it’s on Lemmy World, not Lemm.ee
I see you are already mentioned fediverser there as well
I tried to mention it everywhere sub.rehab was cross-posted :)
Link looks a bit old
Is there a more up-to-date version I should link to instead?
That would could simply get them replaced, and the subreddit might continue under new management.
The lemmit.online instance exists, but it’s utility is limited without a two-way bridge for comments. It’s effectively just like a crowdsourced RSS feed.
Looks like the sub.rehab project is no longer active.

reddit’s fuckery is unlikely to ever re-produce the massive influx of new users that the API nonsense did in 2023
While Reddit might not have a single screw-up of that scale again, that is probably better for long-term Lemmy growth. I think we’ve forgotten just how ill-equipped the small handful of Lemmy instances were to cope with the 2023 influx. We have many more stable instances now, and the onboarding process is smoother.
For new users: !lotrmemes@lemmy.dbzer0.com
We’re actually closing in on 50k, posssibly already past it by now.
Welcome!
I’ll likely stick around reddit for a bit and do my part to comment about making the switch
!fedibridge@lemmy.dbzer0.com often features has Reddit posts which mention Lemmy or problems with Reddit. Great place to find and share opportunities to spread the word.
Happy cake day!
I did not expect Snoop Dogg and Tencent.
@db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com Thoughts on hosting a datahoarder community on your instance?
The moderator of !datahoarder@lemmy.ml (@archivist@lemmy.ml, likely u/-Archivist) hasn’t been active in two years. Would the admins be open to appointing a new moderator or redirecting to a community on another instance? Tagging admin @nutomic@lemmy.ml.
The moderator of !datahoarder@lemmy.world (@danielintempesta@lemmy.world) is active. Thoughts on moving the community to dbzer0?
Tagging recent posters in the above communities for their thoughts: @cm0002@lemmy.world, @Sandbag@lemm.ee, @pansapiens@lemmy.sdf.org, @ocean@lemmy.selfhostcat.com, @akilou@sh.itjust.works, @cantankerous_cashew@lemmy.world, @fmstrat@lemmy.nowsci.com.
Thoughts on moving the community to dbzero? I think moving away from .ml might be a better experience for new users, and moving away from .world (largest instance, still on 19.3) would strengthen the fediverse as a whole.
Not sure if I qualify as growing up poor, but a plain potato cooked in the microwave is cheap, filling, and comforting.
