I was thinking about that the other day. What has to happen for another entity to invade and put a stop to this? Who’s most likely to do so…and win? Will we be happy with whomever is installed as leader?
Honestly, I’ll take anything. I fucking hate this country, and I fucking hate its culture. If China or the EU or whoever wants to come invade our cities and erase our history, I’d gladly help them.
If you aren’t a fan of authoritarianism, you may want to read up on what living in China is like …or Tibet, Urghurs, Taiwan…EU and China are generally pretty far apart in position and trajectory though some places in Europe definitely asking the question in the last 10 years how Europe would feel about fascist ascendency.
