    KAN maintains that it fully complies with EBU regulations and emphasizes its editorial independence from the Israeli government.

    Lol, the lyrics are as close to propaganda as they can get away with.

    I also want to point out that we are talking about broadcasters here, not countries. KAN is by far the broadcaster that is the least independant from their government right now.

    In the event of a vote, Germany, Italy, Greece, Azerbaijan, and Cyprus are also expected to side with Israel.

    Add Switzerland and Austria.

    So it’s a bit more than just Germany and Italy…

      The whole article reeks of bullshit, with the only source being a “former member of Israel’s Eurovision delegation”. But the difference is that Italy and Germany allegedly threatens to leave the song contest in protest, whereas the other countries listed are merely expected to vote to keep Israel in the contest.
