I’m not sure who’d remain in that EU. Nordic countries? Everywhere else far right is gaining popularity fast.

Absolutely. I hate that nobody here (exaggerated, but the common sentiment…) aknowleges any kind of problem whatsover, no matter which topic.

Yeah, most Nordic and some Western European right is approximately centre-left in Eastern Europe. Like, Geert Wilders would be an upgrade here lol.

The original members. The far right doesn’t want to associate with “those” other countries, but they love feeling elite, what’s better than remaking it with just the richest countries?

It will then evolve naturally just like it already did.

Huh? Have you seen how they have been polling there in the last year or so? Doubly scary for countries with first past the post voting systems because liberals will vote for fascists if left is presented as an alternative.

And some leftists may sit out important elections because they can’t vote for their favourite parties/independents without wasting it. FPTP is intentionally kept to force the public to choose between 2 bad options neoliberals or fascists. The neoliberals screw up and make inequality worse and people get angry and want for the fascist to win for the next election.
