The democrats should purge the party of these republicans dressed up (and not even convincingly) as democrats, but instead democrats welcome such characters with open arms and will promote them over progressives. If they want to stop people from thinking both parties are the same, they should really do something about this.
The Democrats want Fetterman and Friends to be in power. They want to enable the Fascists. This is intentionally and by design. The Democrats represent the same oligarchies interests like the Republicans.
They will not do anything about this, unless forced to. This is why it is crucial to build up an actually progressive third party and apply proper pressure from within the Democrats too, instead of all this “vote blue no matter who” bootlicking we have seen over the past years.
Forget the Democrats, the system as a whole needs to be rethought. Your elected representative should have to serve your wants and needs within a relatively narrow guardrail.
