Democracy in america was tenuous at best. We did use it for some good over the years but it hasn’t been the bulwark we need to protect our rights like we had been sold. Democracy works when people believe in democracy. We stopped believing.
But average intelligence white people used to be able to make enough money to pay for it not to effect them 😭.
