      If it’s how they operate, it’s normal for their country, by definition.

      They’re straight up saying it’s not good.

        The story is not a nothing-burger. Just because Israel has normalized harassing journalists it does not get to be a “normal occurrence”. Also they stopped a conservative journalist for criticism of Israel it is certainly not a random event.

          At this point y’all aren’t disagreeing about what happened or if it was good/bad, just about how terms like “normal” and “nothing burger” should be used.

            We are disagreeing whether the story is noteworthy or something that should be considered “normal”.

            Words have meaning which is why these semantical discussions are important.
