A little-known fact is that Hitler’s purge of Ernst Roehm and other brownshirts acquired the name “Night of the Long Knives” because Hitler used the phrase (which dates to medieval times) to describe what Roehm allegedly had planned for Hitler in a speech shortly after the event. Hitler never intended his own actions to be called that.

US already has the Gestapo, now they just need the SS

Bernie won’t die of old age, Trump himself will kill him

Okay this is just a me, as a german with autism and history focus, thing, mixed with a pinch of macaber humor. But i always dislike when they are compared to the gestapo. ICE are villains alright, but not SUPER VILLAINS like anything the Nazis produced. The difference: PRESENTATION!!

ICE is rediculouse, just some fat low life looser thughs that a motion-disabled person could outrun

But yes i get why we compare them, brings the point across, both are fascists/nazis and SS is on a waaayy different level.

If ICE is that pathetic, how pathetic will be their attempt at an SS!?

Different note: i HOPE bernie outlives trump. I DO NOT want to witness what trump does when he gets this into his sausage pedo fingers

We’re doing fascism but it’s being driven by mostly incompetent shitkids. I guess we should thank our lucky stars they are so incompetent because what happened in germany showed what competent types can do, and that’s not really ‘catching on’ here in parallel to 1935 deutschland. The US is also a country with a longer history of open free discourse than the brief freedoms germans had between the wars.

And finally, although the economy is wretched, we aren’t to the bread-lines and other horrors the depression brought.

We may get there though at this rate. And don’t get it twisted, they aren’t all incompetent fascists, just notably a bunch of incompetent moves. We aren’t out of the woods yet entirely.

I don’t know what your news filter is like, but these guys are far from comical. Yes, the first wave to arrive were a bunch of tubby Texans, but now they’re going door to door in gangs of 'roided-up wannabe Rambos with full tactical gear and long guns, busting down doors and storming in like it’s Iraq.

If you dont have a gun and you are outnumbered by a group with guns, ofc they are scary. They arent trained. They dont use tactics. Put them in a combat situation, an ambush, they wouldnt survive at all. The gestapo were trained in combat hand to hand, tech and fire arms. And that properly.

Take their armor and guns away and you once again only have “hubert your friendly neighborhood fascist”

Most of them are clowns, but a number are former military. And even then that’s ignoring some of the real fucked up nazis who live in deep country

Edit: let me put it this way: you say if we took their guns away they would be nothing? Well, go take their guns away.

I disagree, the early Nazis had plenty of fucked up thugs to confront the communists and whoever else disagreed with them.

If you know anything about Germany and the US, it makes sense that Germany would produce fewer, more refined Nazis while the US mass-produces cheap Nazis.
