    You’d think that an actor would actually appreciate all of that impeccable choreography, art direction, and set design.

    That was one of the best halftime shows ever produced. No Purple Rain in the rain, but it was in the top 10.

      Production wise sure. The music was 100% not for me, but I’ve already made peace with that for Superbowl performances in general.

        Word. I’m an insufferable indie snob, and it’s rare that top 40 pop excites me. But, I appreciate good craft, and IMHO, if you’re at the top of the US album charts, and are pulling numbers that beat Taylor Swift, you should probably get to play at the Super Bowl. The people have spoken.

      Are you sure he wasn’t talking about the kid rock counter programming?
