    The next time Canada dumps a bunch of milk in a ditch to control prices they should film it to show the trump administration.

      Who really does this. I’m sorry the video who did this was on purpose. They know how much milk they need and produce around that much. Is it sometimes higher probably but not thousands of liters.

        A milk cow can generate a 1000 litres of milk a month, it seems reasonable that you might have one or two more cows than you need as a buffer for a dairy farm, and for a larger company with multiple farms, 1000 litres isn’t even a rounding error. Canada produced over 800,000,000 litres of milk in May alone see Stats Canada. I believe supply management regulations also force the destruction of overproduction as well. related Question Period QA. Based on this, it’s even worse than 1000’s of litres.

      😜. US sees it as controlling price, but the bigger benefit is it controls quality and animal welfare by stopping overproduction. Which the US hates, they just make as much as they can pump out regardless of how it affects quality or animal health.
