“Forced” is where I’d disagree. In cases of trafficking/extenuating circumstance sure. But, I dont think sex work is the ONLY way many of the workers could earn a living.

but for some reason sex workers argue that they have ‘no other choice’. usually under the guise that sex work pays higher wages than service work available to them. maybe it does, but it’s still a choice and plenty of people do not pursue sex work despite it being a choice they could make.
I notice this whipped out when people try to argue with you that you need to pay streams/onlyfans types who put out their content for free. I mean, it’s cool if you pay for porn and are proud of it, but it’s stupid/shitty to try and shame others into doing so.
