Techcrunch has basically been an ad network for companies who want to promote themselves. Other open source projects probably don’t have a budget to pay for an a̶r̶t̶i̶c̶l̶e̶ ad spot.

People really dislike when you point out US support for genocide. But do the same for Russian and Chinese genocide in any threads vaguely relating to those countries, you’re cheerled to the top of the comments.
