Some double distilled can be a problem for me. I obviously have no way of testing other than bad experiences, but I have yet to find a triple distilled thats an issue.

Short answer - “should” and “does” are two separate issues. “Should” isn’t good enough when it comes to a medical issue, something I’ve learned the hard way with being gluten free.

1, thats awesome. 2, they note gluten free specifically - which if they test for it (I really hope they do when they make the claim, because distillation does not guarantee gluten-free) means I’ve got a new whiskey to enjoy!

Considering the time you were at reddit (not too different from mine), I think you’ll find Lemmy like reddit was in your earlier times there.

What I mean by that is generally more thoughtful and reasonable discussion (generally), smaller communities, more generalized (but specific stuff is accepted, so “all ttrpg is good here” vs “thats pathfinder, this is for 5e only!”, as an example.

They said “why is the media pretending this was new”, not “Why are they reporting on this”.

These are very different statements. You are suggesting they said the media shouldn’t bother reporting on it. What they actually said was that it should be pointed out that there are many repeats, and shouldn’t be treated as though its happening for the first time.

I think that is the root of the misunderstanding here.

They think its hurting them or controlling them and thats why they use codliver oil and witchhazel.

Here are a few of my favorites, some of which are exposed, some are not:

• Homepage - a homepage to put quick links to all of my stuff, neat and clean.
• Grafana - for visualization of current data of my systems, paired with Prometheus.
• Technitium DNS - for all of my DNS needs.
• Jellyfin - for all my media, let’s me pick out what my kids can see/watch without me having to look over their shoulder, along with being a great looking solution for me.
• Immich - photo and video management

All of these (and more, this is just a dsmple of favorites) run on Proxmox. I mostly use LXC over docker, personal preference.

Home Assistant is probably the single most useful for me, already mentioned, just about everything at home is automated/controlled through there.
